Feeney claims Sprint Cup glory with 12th win of 2025
Twenty-two-year-old star Broc Feeney won a dramatic Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 finale, clinching the 2025 Repco Sprint Cup, a Finals spot, and a commanding lead in the Repco Supercars Championship.

The Red Bull Ampol Racing star took his 12th win from 24 starts this season in Sunday’s Race 25, overcoming wild weather, multiple Safety Cars, and a late charge from Cam Waters.

To celebrate, Feeney brought his mum and 89-year-old Nan onto the podium this afternoon Ipswich with him.

Feeney, who grew up racing at Queensland Raceway, thrilled his home crowd with the win, finishing the Sprint Cup 337 points clear of teammate and defending Supercars Champion Will Brown.

Ford's best - Cam Waters produced one of the drives of the season, charging from 19th to second, while rookie Kai Allen surged from 22nd to third after an inspired strategy call during the race’s pivotal Safety Car period.

“I really wanted to win this one, especially here at home,” Feeney said.

“I’ve got a lot of friends and family here — my Nan’s even in the crowd — so it’s bloody awesome.

"They threw everything at us today: the weather, the Safety Car, you name it. To come out of that in fourth and go straight back to the lead was incredible.”

The result means Brown and Grove Racing’s Matt Payne clinch provisional Finals berths, with both holding more than a 600-point buffer over ninth in the standings.

Supercars next stop is the Airtouch 500 at The Bend in South Australia from 12-14 September, the first event of the Enduro Cup.

Superstars of Supercars including Hall of Fame inductees Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup will join the grid in co-driver roles as the full-field battles it out in a 500km slog around the Tailem Bend circuit, the first time Supercars has raced an enduro event at the venue.

The event will be broadcast exclusively live on Fox Sports and Kayo, with highlights on the Seven Network and 7plus.
