TCM Ready for The Bend debut at 2023 OTR SuperSprint
THE Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters will make their debut at The Bend Motorsport Park later this month for the August 18-20 OTR SuperSprint.

The Bend will be the 16th different venue the category will have competed at and just the second in South Australia.

The most recent TCM action at The Bend was undertaken by Whiteline Racing, who ran the #85 Camaro at The Bend Classic in late 2020.

The car was a standout performer of the weekend and proved that the racing will be spectacular on the fast, flowing high-speed International Circuit.

TCM has a track record of producing stunning racing at similar circuits, including Sydney Motorsport Park and Phillip Island.

TCM joins a packed support program at The Bend’s annual Supercars event, including Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia, the S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship, Toyota Gazoo Racing 86 Series and the V8 SuperUtes.

A busy Friday program will see TCM complete practice, qualifying and the regular Trophy race – making the day a great value proposition for fans to attend.

Saturday will see the first pair of Championship races, one early in the morning and the later just after midday.

Race 3 will then commence at 11:30am on Sunday to complete the weekend.

The Bend starts a high-profile run home for TCM with three major events to conclude the year, starting at the South Australian venue.

The series returns to Mount Panorama in November at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst International and then concludes at the VAILO Adelaide 500 in November.

The final two events will include a Trans Tasman component, with several cars and drivers from Touring Car Masters’ NZ to join the Aussie cars at Mount Panorama and Adelaide.
