About this Product:

This model represents the 1972 Holden Monaro HQ used as a Main Force Patrol (MFP) car. The external identifiers are the “MFP” logos on the lower rear quarter panels and a faint red MFP outline on the boot. Inside, it features the blue siren and lights along with the standard MFP radio.

The original car was a base model HQ Monaro purchased in mint condition from an elderly couple. For filming, the production crew deliberately damaged it by driving it hard around Melbourne and scraping it against guard rails to create a worn appearance.

While the original vehicle ran a 6 cylinder engine, this version is fitted with a 350 Chev fuel-injected engine. It also features a bonnet scoop and a weathered body to match its pursuit-style look.
