The famous Ford 1-2 at Bathurst

It remains the day that still shakes Holden fans to their core: the day that Allan Moffat and Colin Bond scored a 1-2 form finish in the 1977 Hardie-Ferodo 1000 at Bathurst.

Now, for the first time, Chevron is releasing eight hours of unseen-since-aired coverage from this momentous day in Bathurst 1000 history, a must for Ford fans to have in their collection.

The Seven Network has managed to save the majority of the race day telecast, their archivists saving much of the vision from the videotape scrapheap.

You'll also see material that didn't even go to air on race day, given the cameras kept rolling even while the commercials were going to air.

Apart from the crushing 1-2 form finish by the Moffat Ford Dealers Falcons of Moffat and Bond, you'll see the Bathurst debut of the Holden A9X Torana in the hands of Peter Brock and Allan Grice as well as the Bathurst 1000 debut of Larry Perkins.
